Hello everyone! This is coming about 10 days late, but oh well! Better late than never. Here’s a breakdown of what I read in January and what I’m hoping to read in February!
WRAP UP
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

If you’ve ever studied drama or English Literature, you may well have heard of this play. In fact, I did in fact read the play for my English Literature class. Thinking back on the experience, the tea may have enhanced the experience (10AM Friday morning classes gave birth to ‘The Breakfast Club’ ft. cakes, chocolate, and 20 extra kilos).
Regardless, it is a very powerful, sometimes disturbing, sometimes sad and generally very entertaining and vivid play. 4/5 stars.

So the point of February will be to finish reading the books I am part way through! Hopefully that way I will be more motivated to pick up some new books as well.

I’m taking English Lit too, but I don’t actually know if we’re reading A Streetcar Named Desire… which is a shame, because it sounds like an intriguing play. Good luck with your February reads 🙂
(Also, as a side note, I really love the formatting in your blog posts! The different colored text backgrounds that you use are super cute and tie your theme together really nicely!)

It really is a good play, and our class had a lot of really interesting discussions and debates because of it.
(Also, thank you!!!)
